Twist of events. I was here in Kerala to meet my dear Sanatan Master Ananda Teerth Maharaj, whom I had first met in Uttarkashi in 2022 and who had encouraged me to continue my work after he had seen my videos and LiVE sessions on social media.
He has one of the oldest ashrams in Uttarkashi. He was the one who asked me to start retreats and offered his ashram in Uttarkashi back then when i had no absolute idea what he is talking about.
It took 4 years to manifest as we will be having a retreat soon this year in Uttarkashi. For this reason i was here to meet him but last moment he had to go back to Uttarkashi. I delayed my stay in Kochi, Kerala and waited for him to arrive. Then the whole thing changed as Maharaj’s flight happened to be landing late. So we requested him to come home, which he graciously agreed to halt the night at Kanoo bhai and Uma bhen’s place and since yesterday we have been in the blessed presence of Maharaj.
Today he took us to Pirovam to Adi Shankaracharya’s birth place. He introduced us to Swami Sharadanand, a gold medalist Vedantist and chief of this ashram and organisation under Chimayananda mission, opening up another avenue for a deep Residential SiA retreat here at this ashram. This is the home of the mother of Adi Shankaracharya, where he was born.
Adi Shankaracharya ji’s presence is so very strong here and am overwhelmed to realise he is guiding not only through his subtle presence but also though these great humble devotee saints. Am in tears at the loving embrace of the unconditional love of these great Sanatanis, which i haven’t experienced anywhere in my life.
3 days back a divine 3 hours satsang fell in place with about 15 people of Kerala, the first SiA satsang in Kochi, Kerala which was conducted in English and Malayalam.
More than blessed and happy to meet my dear Anand Teerth Maharaj after years. He will take us to a few more places before he disappears into his aloofness.
