Shiva is pure awareness. Shakti is consciousness that rises out of awareness.
The first step in creation is when Shakti (consciousness) emerges out of Shiva (pure awareness) and that state where pure awareness is aware of consciousness (Shiva is aware of Shakti) is the state known as Ardhanarishwara. The state of I AM.
☯️ If Shakti stays here with Shiva, she experiences Sat-Chit-Ananda. Sat is Shiva. Chit is Shakti. Ananda is the bliss of this togetherness. This is the state we are practicing in Retreats. Because Shakti is you. The “I” (ego or Shakti) that has risen out of “AMness” (Shiva). When you stay in your AMness, it is the I AM state. This is the state where your marriage to your beloved. This state is the Bindu on the Sri Chakra.
When Shakti leaves this state and moves downward, she creates the Universe. The Mahameru emerges out of the Bindu. Shakti creating Universe is very much you creating your Universe. Shakti moving to the extreme of creation is you moving to the extreme of Samsara.
🏞When Shakti takes her attention off Shiva and looks outward, she creates and creates and maintains it for her own happiness. When you take your awareness off of your I AMness, you begin creating your Universe – your multiple lives and deaths is the pursuit of happiness in the world you create.
That feeling that the bliss you experience in I AM ness can be found in creation is what is the illusion (Maya). More stronger the maya, more outward the movement of Shakti (you) into creation and maintenance of what you create.
💤 Finally, when Shakti reaches the extreme point of her creation, she is into tamas, inertia, sleep, heights of ignorance. That sleep is symbolised as the Kundalini shakti coiled up at Muladhara and asleep.
Waking Kundalini is Shakti waking up from maya – you waking up from illusion. This is your stage where you start questioning your existence, you seek a deeper meaning in life, you question the purpose of life, purpose of the whole existence.
🧘‍♀️You begin waking up. You start feeling you don’t belong here. Shakti remembers here original state and now longs to get back there – to Shiva. You begin getting inclination towards religion and then later into spirituality. You begin losing interest in your worldly pursuits. But still the tug of maya will be there.
Shakti finds blockages in her own creation, just like you find blockages created from your own journey, your karma. She sometimes falls back asleep and keeps waking up, again and again – from her dream.
Shakti now struggles to move upward back home – her journey begins from Muladhara towards Sahasrara, where her beloved is. You begin getting the inward pull towards the center of your being, where your beloved it.
You realise what you are searching in the world is this peace, this happiness, this completion which is in the center of your being but due to the power of maya, you felt these all could be attained in your creation – so you created, you maintained.
But you realised that everything you create and maintain gives you only temporary happiness and the moment the things you create disappears from your field, you jump into another desire, in the same delusional hope that this time it will give you that permanent happiness and peace, but it slips. This is called dukha (suffering).
Suffering arising from ignorance. Shakti suffers her own creation. Now she has not interest. She begins destroying her creation. Thus begins pralaya (destruction). Whatever she wishes (with her icha shakti) she creates it (kriya shakti) because she has the wisdom of creating it (gnana shakti).
When she desires to create her samsara, her kriya happens towards samsara and when she desires to go back to her beloved, her kriya destroys her creation and creates her path back home.
You are that Shakti that has the power to create, maintain and destroy. You are that Shakti that moves either downward or upward.
When you move towards samsara, it is known as Shrishti chakra where you activate your creative powers to create the world and its enjoyments, of course with a price of being stuck in your own creation, due to the karmic repercussions.
💥 When you move towards your being (Shiva), your creative powers destroy your creation (sanghar chakra) and longs only for that eternal bliss.
That pralaya in you is what results in vairagya (detachment) from all that is false. You become the seeker of Truth (Shiva).
Interestingly, what awakens her is the light of Shiva’s awareness in her. She is alive because of the light of Shiva. Shiva is the grace in her.
Wherever she goes, away from him or towards him, is the light of his awareness that gives life to Shakti.
👁Thus, Shiva is experiencing the whole play through Shakti! He is experiencing life through you. Not a moment is her absent from you. Even your ignorance is by his light. Your liberation also is by his light✨️. The rise and fall of ego is because of his light! Stay aware of this truth every moment, you will never be disconnected.
⭕️ Shiva is not a person, but the same Supreme Being, a state, that for explanation sake is termed as Shiva or Allah or God or whatever names. It is foolish to cage these nameless, formless states into some identity. That identity is another form of delusion – the maya.
💫 Only by grace (Mahamaya) can this delusion be removed. This is the final delusion and obstacle to the seeker’s journey back to liberation.
The illusory attachment to concepts and labelling of those concepts into religion and thus creating only division.
☯️🔅The highest state is known as Shiva (hinduism) or Kingdom of God (Christianity) or Aḥadiyyah (Islam) or I AMness (religionless). These states are itself expressed as Aham Brahmahsmi or Tatvam Asi or I Am That I Am or Analhaq.
Shakti moving with all her might toward Shiva is what is indicated in Kundalini Shakti rising upward to merge in Sahasrara. She moves through different cities (chakras) and each chakra are states of consciousness – the lowest being the most gross and the highest being more pure.
☮️ So, any path or religion or method you choose, you are only by grace of that Supreme being guided to cleanse, purify and rise upward.
The method, path or religion doesn’t matter because in the highest state of Shiva, there is nothing like religion or path or divisions. All paths gives you Chitta shuddhi (Cleansing of Shakti).
🔥As Shakti purifies herself, she becomes more eligible and worthy of Shiva. Any path you chose, you are moving from Bhupur to Bindu (of your Sri Chakra) only.
In the next post, we will see what happens when Shakti purifies herself (you purify yourself) and reach the closest city (agna chakra) to Shiva.
We will learn the final communication between Shiva and Shakti, before the final marriage of Ardhnarishwara happens and Shakti is united with Shiva. Meaning, you are stabilised in the state of I AMness.

🔅 शक्ति की यात्रा के रहस्य (आपकी घर वापसी की यात्रा)
शिव शुद्ध चेतना हैं। शक्ति चेतना है जो चेतना से उत्पन्न होती है।
सृष्टि का पहला चरण तब होता है जब शक्ति (चेतना) शिव (शुद्ध चेतना) से उत्पन्न होती है और वह अवस्था जहाँ शुद्ध चेतना चेतना से अवगत होती है (शिव शक्ति से अवगत होते हैं) अर्धनारीश्वर अवस्था कहलाती है। यह ‘मैं हूँ’ की अवस्था है।
☯️ यदि शक्ति शिव के साथ यहाँ बनी रहती है, तो वह सत्-चित-आनंद का अनुभव करती है। सत् शिव हैं। चित शक्ति हैं। आनंद इस सहभागिता का परमानंद है। यही वह अवस्था है जिसका हम रिट्रीट में अभ्यास करते हैं। क्योंकि शक्ति आप ही हैं। वह “मैं” (अहंकार या शक्ति) जो “मैं” (शिव) से उत्पन्न हुई है। जब आप अपनी “मैं” अवस्था में रहते हैं, तो यह ‘मैं हूँ’ अवस्था होती है। यही वह अवस्था है जहाँ आपका अपने प्रियतम से विवाह होता है। यही अवस्था श्री चक्र पर स्थित बिंदु है।
जब शक्ति इस अवस्था को छोड़कर नीचे की ओर गति करती है, तो वह ब्रह्मांड की रचना करती है। महामेरु बिंदु से उत्पन्न होते हैं। शक्ति द्वारा ब्रह्मांड का सृजन करना, आपके द्वारा अपने ब्रह्मांड के सृजन के समान ही है। शक्ति का सृजन की चरम सीमा तक पहुंचना, आपके द्वारा संसार की चरम सीमा तक पहुंचने के समान है।
🏞 जब शक्ति शिव से अपना ध्यान हटाकर बाह्य जगत की ओर देखती है, तो वह अपने सुख के लिए सृजन करती रहती है और उसे बनाए रखती है। जब आप अपने ‘मैं हूं’ भाव से अपना ध्यान हटा लेते हैं, तो आप अपने ब्रह्मांड का सृजन करना शुरू कर देते हैं – आपके अनेक जन्म और मृत्यु, आपके द्वारा सृजित संसार में सुख की खोज है।
यह अहसास कि ‘मैं हूँ’ की अनुभूति में जो आनंद मिलता है, वह सृष्टि में भी पाया जा सकता है, यही माया है। माया जितनी प्रबल होती है, शक्ति (आप) का सृष्टि और उसके पालन-पोषण में उतना ही अधिक प्रवाह होता है।
💤 अंततः, जब शक्ति अपनी सृष्टि के चरम पर पहुँचती है, तो वह तमस, जड़ता, नींद, अज्ञान की ऊँचाइयों में लीन हो जाती है। उस नींद का प्रतीक कुंडलिनी शक्ति है जो मूलाधार में कुंडलित होकर सो रही है।
जागृत कुंडलिनी शक्ति का माया से जागना है – आपका भ्रम से जागना है। यह वह अवस्था है जहाँ आप अपने अस्तित्व पर प्रश्न उठाना शुरू करते हैं, जीवन का गहरा अर्थ खोजते हैं, जीवन के उद्देश्य पर, संपूर्ण अस्तित्व के उद्देश्य पर प्रश्न उठाते हैं।
🧘‍♀️आप जागृत होने लगते हैं। आपको यह महसूस होने लगता है कि आप यहाँ के नहीं हैं। शक्ति अपनी मूल अवस्था को याद करती है और अब वहाँ वापस जाने के लिए तरसती है – शिव के पास। आप धर्म की ओर और फिर आध्यात्मिकता की ओर आकर्षित होने लगते हैं। आप सांसारिक कार्यों में रुचि खोने लगते हैं। लेकिन माया का खिंचाव तो फिर भी बना रहेगा।
शक्ति को अपनी ही रचना में अवरोध मिलते हैं, ठीक वैसे ही जैसे आपको अपनी यात्रा, अपने कर्मों से उत्पन्न अवरोध मिलते हैं। वह कभी-कभी फिर से सो जाती है और बार-बार अपने सपने से जागती रहती है।
शक्ति अब अपने घर की ओर ऊपर उठने के लिए संघर्ष करती है – उसकी यात्रा मूलाधार से सहस्रार की ओर शुरू होती है, जहाँ उसका प्रियतम है। आपको अपने भीतर के केंद्र की ओर एक अंतर्मुख खिंचाव महसूस होने लगता है, जहाँ आपका प्रियतम है।
आप यह महसूस करते हैं कि आप संसार में जिस चीज की तलाश कर रहे हैं, वह यही शांति, यही सुख, यही पूर्णता है जो आपके भीतर के केंद्र में है, लेकिन माया के प्रभाव के कारण आपने सोचा कि ये सब आपकी रचना में ही प्राप्त हो सकते हैं – इसलिए आपने रचना की, आपने पालन-पोषण किया।
लेकिन आपने महसूस किया कि आप जो कुछ भी बनाते और पालते हैं, वह आपको केवल क्षणिक सुख देता है और जैसे ही आपकी रचना आपके क्षेत्र से गायब हो जाती है, आप उसी भ्रामक आशा में किसी दूसरी इच्छा में कूद पड़ते हैं कि इस बार वह आपको स्थायी सुख और शांति देगी, लेकिन यह भी हाथ से फिसल जाता है। इसे दुःख कहते हैं।
अज्ञान से उत्पन्न दुःख। शक्ति अपनी ही रचना का दुःख सहती है। अब उसे कोई रुचि नहीं है। वह अपनी रचना का विनाश शुरू कर देती है। इस प्रकार प्रलय (विनाश) शुरू होता है। वह जो कुछ भी चाहती है (अपनी इच्छा शक्ति से) उसे (क्रिया शक्ति से) सृजित करती है, क्योंकि उसके पास सृजन करने का ज्ञान (ज्ञान शक्ति) है।
जब वह संसार का सृजन करना चाहती है, तो उसकी क्रिया संसार की ओर अग्रसर होती है, और जब वह अपने प्रियतम के पास लौटना चाहती है, तो उसकी क्रिया उसके सृजन को नष्ट कर देती है और उसके घर वापसी का मार्ग सृजित करती है।
आप वह शक्ति हैं जिसमें सृजन, पालन और विनाश करने की शक्ति है। आप वह शक्ति हैं जो नीचे या ऊपर की ओर गति करती हैं।
जब आप संसार की ओर गति करते हैं, तो इसे सृष्टि चक्र कहा जाता है, जहाँ आप अपनी सृजनात्मक शक्तियों को सक्रिय करके संसार और उसके सुखों का सृजन करते हैं, बेशक कर्मफल के कारण अपने ही सृजन में फंसे रहने की कीमत चुकानी पड़ती है।
💥 जब आप अपने अस्तित्व (शिव) की ओर बढ़ते हैं, तो आपकी सृजनात्मक शक्तियाँ आपकी सृष्टि (संघ चक्र) को नष्ट कर देती हैं और केवल उस शाश्वत आनंद की लालसा करती हैं।
आपके भीतर का वह प्रलय ही आपको असत्य से वैराग्य (अनासक्ति) की ओर ले जाता है। आप सत्य (शिव) के साधक बन जाते हैं।
रोचक बात यह है कि जो चीज उन्हें जागृत करती है, वह उनके भीतर शिव की चेतना का प्रकाश है। वे शिव के प्रकाश के कारण ही जीवित हैं। शिव उनके भीतर की कृपा हैं।
वे जहाँ भी जाती हैं, चाहे उनसे दूर हों या उनकी ओर, उनकी चेतना का प्रकाश ही शक्ति को जीवन प्रदान करता है।
👁 इस प्रकार, शिव शक्ति के माध्यम से संपूर्ण लीला का अनुभव कर रहे हैं! वे आपके माध्यम से जीवन का अनुभव कर रहे हैं। एक क्षण भी वे आपसे अनुपस्थित नहीं हैं। आपका अज्ञान भी उनके प्रकाश से ही है। आपकी मुक्ति भी उनके प्रकाश से ही है ✨️। अहंकार का उत्थान और पतन उनके प्रकाश के कारण ही होता है! हर क्षण इस सत्य के प्रति सचेत रहें, आप कभी भी इससे विमुख नहीं होंगे।
⭕️ शिव कोई व्यक्ति नहीं हैं, बल्कि वही परम सत्ता हैं, एक अवस्था हैं, जिसे स्पष्टीकरण के लिए शिव, अल्लाह, ईश्वर या अन्य नामों से पुकारा जाता है। इन नामहीन, निराकार अवस्थाओं को किसी पहचान में बांधना मूर्खता है। वह पहचान भी एक प्रकार का भ्रम है – माया।
💫 केवल कृपा (महामाया) से ही इस भ्रम का निवारण हो सकता है। यही अंतिम भ्रम है और मोक्ष की ओर साधक की यात्रा में बाधा है।
अवधारणाओं से भ्रामक लगाव और उन अवधारणाओं को धर्मों का नाम देकर केवल विभाजन उत्पन्न करना ही भ्रम है।
☯️🔅 सर्वोच्च अवस्था को शिव (हिंदू धर्म), ईश्वर का राज्य (ईसाई धर्म), अहदिय्याह (इस्लाम), या मैं हूं (धर्महीनता) के नाम से जाना जाता है। इन अवस्थाओं को स्वयं अहम ब्रह्मःस्मि, तत्वम् असि, मैं जो हूं वही हूं, या अनलहक के रूप में व्यक्त किया जाता है।
शक्ति का अपनी पूरी शक्ति से शिव की ओर बढ़ना कुंडलिनी शक्ति के सहस्रार में विलीन होने के लिए ऊपर उठने का संकेत है। वह विभिन्न चक्रों से होकर गुजरती है, और प्रत्येक चक्र चेतना की अवस्थाओं का प्रतिनिधित्व करता है – सबसे निचला चक्र सबसे स्थूल और सबसे ऊपरी चक्र सबसे शुद्ध होता है।
☮️ इसलिए, आप जो भी मार्ग, धर्म या विधि चुनें, आप केवल उस परम सत्ता की कृपा से ही शुद्धिकरण, पवित्रता और उत्थान की ओर अग्रसर होते हैं।
विधि, मार्ग या धर्म का कोई महत्व नहीं है, क्योंकि शिव की सर्वोच्च अवस्था में धर्म, मार्ग या विभाजन जैसी कोई चीज नहीं होती। सभी मार्ग आपको चित्त शुद्धि (शक्ति का शुद्धिकरण) प्रदान करते हैं।
🔥 जैसे-जैसे शक्ति स्वयं को शुद्ध करती है, वह शिव के लिए अधिक योग्य और पात्र हो जाती है। आप जो भी मार्ग चुनें, आप भूपुर से बिंदु (आपके श्री चक्र का) की ओर ही अग्रसर होते हैं।
अगले लेख में, हम देखेंगे कि जब शक्ति स्वयं को शुद्ध करती है (आप स्वयं को शुद्ध करते हैं) और शिव के निकटतम चक्र (आग्न चक्र) तक पहुँचती है तो क्या होता है।
हम अर्धनारीश्वर के अंतिम विवाह से पहले, शिव और शक्ति के बीच अंतिम संवाद के बारे में जानेंगे, जब शक्ति शिव से विलीन हो जाती है। इसका अर्थ है कि आप ‘मैं हूँ’ की अवस्था में स्थिर हो जाते हैं।
