When life doesn’t move in the direction of the soul, it will indicate in many ways that may not be very obvious to the conscious mind. Like some tiredness or fatigue, loss of interest in daily life activities, aches and pains in the body, lack of mental activeness, lack of clarity, self-doubt or the compulsions to numb oneself in habits or routines.

Because if the soul is doing what it needs to be doing it will be alive and fully present. But here it is getting tired. These are signs of inner calling, to indicate or remind you to become conscious of where life is moving, trying to make you aware and guide you towards that which you are meant to be or to do.

You feel you lack efforts or you aren’t doing it right. You thus put more efforts and do the same things in different ways and find that life is not moving. Something doesn’t feel right. You struggle and find out more ways to do it right.

What you need to understand is that don’t need more efforts and struggle. But you need to now take off for a while, still down, let go of all efforts and struggles and simply become aware.

When all the mind chaos settles down and there is only you left with yourself, no programmed or habitual thought currents, move your attention to the center of your being. You will notice a silent energy move towards those thoughts or feelings that feels alive and meaningful. You will see thoughts wanting to go in the direction you long for. You will also observe the silent energy that moves and leaks itself in things that no more serve the purpose but is active there simply out of habit.

Become silently aware of that pull which is buried under excuses or limitations or habits or conditioning. Don’t try to do anything about it. Just be aware.

You will also become aware that life is already guiding you towards that which is your soul calling. You just need to listen to it and surrender to that force. There is nothing to do but surrender and trust that life will lead you to what is best for you.

This leading force has to be meditated upon and trusted without allowing the ego to exercise efforts in that which the mind/ego calculates according to what it feels is safe and comfortable. Slowly, you will see life manifesting in that direction. That is what i mean by saying ‘follow your heart’. Not your mind, not other’s mind or other’s hearts but your heart. Pay attention to that inner pull when everything else becomes silent.”
